How do I describe myself? Unique! I love joking, laughter, and merriment, and going out dancing, though I take my school and work life seriously. I receive my Masters in Libary Science in May, with all that profession entails. I love animals, especially my cat, and I would be interested in meeting a fellow pet lover. I love going to movies and spending time with my friends and family. I attend a Unitarian Universalist Church and hope to go to Harvard for a Doctor of Divinity degree. (My Bachelors Degree is in Religious Studies, and I am working on receiving legal ordination as a Pagan minister. I refuse to cheapen my hard-earned degree by the 5-minute e-mail ordination services.) My favorite fiction writers are Michael Moorcock and H.P. Lovecraft, with some stuff by Robert Asprin and William Gibson. My favorite movies are The Matrix for its surreal mood and One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest for its true-to-life portrayal of the most vulnerable and under-valued segment of our society: Mental Illness wastes our most valuable resource: People.

I'm alittle overweight I enjoy walking, biking,reading, going to the libary to check my email checking out books to read for me and my handicap little brother which he is sweet I'm looking for someone to like me for what's in side me and not the outside like some people do to. I love my family and my friends for what I do have anyways I do have a job at this time I'm looking for one. Also I do not got school right now but I'm going back as soon as I get my own car which I do not have at this time Ido not make as much money as some people do which some times hurts because some times I want to do something for me or my family and my girlfriend if I had one so I hope you like this because this is how I really feel. Books of history,over books of science;novels next to volumes of poetry;aviation juxtapose with Asia;art books,craft books,nature books. What's on your books shelves? Feng-shui, astrology, and sport books wiil never have space on my shelves. Magazines and extensive files for everything from oriental movies to photography clippings litteraly overflow my libary. I am at home in my workshop. Interesting shapes,nice patterns give me much delight. My "Grand Obsession" -- building and flying model airplanes. This sport-hobby brings together many of the things I love. Desiging a airplane brings in science and technology. Building is a way to be creative,artistic. Flying is a sport where you are tune into nature's moods. The great outdoors beckons to me. I really enjoy the nature world,love to watch birds. I am driven to seek outdoor adventure. I find mini adventure in jogging tru field and woods.. Long distant bicycle touring is the ultimate outdoor adventure. I have done many great tours lasting 2-3 weeks. I load up all my camping gear ride up and down mountains all day. Find a lovely, natural spot to pitch my tent at night. I prefer to ride solo. I always bring a book of poetry,and a novel or two. A few negatives. If you are loking for the life of a party, you might find me rather dull. The more I can relate to a person, the more I can open up. I am anti our sports obsess culture. Sports,bore. My taste runs more to classical music than to rock in smoky bars. I seldom watch TV. I got a life to live. Do you?

Well I'm recently divorced with no kids.I keep myself busy by workingout during the week.I like going to go to movies,gamerooms,musems,pretty much anything but the bar scence.Pretty much had my fun of bars.Like to go for nature walks.I'm a real good listener.Very interested in space and sci-fi.Go to the libary quite a bit perfer not to be a shut-in.Out and about.Like to take the train downtown see the lakefront.Go out to eat at resturants,spend time with my family(sister & her husband & 3 sons)Family is kind of important to me.Dont like to watch T.V. too much only when doing laundry.Perfer to go to movies instead.I can Clean,Cook,Shop...Have a wild sense of humor...TAH-DAH!!!!!!

For years I tried to find a decent answer to the vexing questions, often asked by interviewers: what is your greatest fault? It's been difficult to articulate an answer because I am practically faultless. However, after much soul-searching, I've recently had an epiphany; I am habitually late when returning videotapes/dvds and libary books. To this day, I think I'm still barred from even entering the Santa Monica Public Libary. And now for the mundane - I am a real estate equity investor/ asset manager, grew up in Los Angeles, lived on the East Coast and abroad for almost 8 years, finally realized that I abhor cold weather and returned to this wonderful city a little more than a year ago.

I am fascinated with the lands of Africa/Egypt and enjoy African/Egyptian art and statues. Books written by many authors such as Dr. Earl Ofari Hutchinson,Cornel West,Bebe Moore Campbell are whats in my reading libary. Well, what to say, I've started this on a whim, I found two diffent jobs on the internet, so how about someone to build a life with? It has to have better luck than the libary!

don't do the bar thing so I hope to meet someone that also is not into bars.I have lived in Fl. for 50 years which is all my life,I am 5'5" love to read I guess that is one of the reasons I work for Hills county Libary system.

Active, fun, honest and real person looking for the same in a woman. The right woman will find me to be as loyal as your dog with a heart as big as a horse.
